Softwall cleanrooms are inexpensive and easily assembled method of creating a cleanroom. They can range from a class 100,000 (ISO 8) to a class 10 (ISO 3). Casters, stainless steel construction, gowning room, strip curtains and prefab wiring kit are the most common of many available options. Standard height is 8 feet but working heights to 16 feet is offered. Free spans to 24 feet can be provided for those applications where internal support legs are a problem. A suspended assembly can be provided with no support legs. Unlike ceiling grid systems which need a support cable every 4 feet, this design only needs supports every 12 feet. A suspended design can be converted to free standing.
